What we foundHairline cracks through the living room plaster, a water stain on the stair ceiling from an old leak, and four layers of paint on the trim.
What we didCut out and re-plastered the cracks, sealed the stain, stripped the trim back to one sound coat. Two coats on walls and ceilings, three on trim.
ResultThe family stayed in the house throughout. One room was closed off at a time.
